Let’s just say that I am so glad to be alive still without injury. My only regret is I wish my friend did not have to go through this traumatic experience with me.

Almost every Sunday, a good friend of mine will invite me and other co-workers to his house, and he will serve melons + coffee~ Melons in Japan are of high standards! They are soft, sweet and juicy… you just want second servings until it is all gone.
This is what I will miss when I leave Japan~

Another year has gone by…. Didn’t do anything crazy~ just a simple lunch with good friends at work and then watch the recorded London Olympics opening ceremony.
We realized that our knowledge of the countries around the world is so limited…
The lighting of the olympics flame is memorable though…
